    Together We Can Do This

Regardless of who you are, where you live or what you believe, COVID-19 has changed all of our lives in a significant way. We are being asked to make changes to our “normal” life in order to slow the spread of this deadly pandemic. Masks and social distancing have become mandatory, staying indoors is encouraged and large gatherings have practically been eliminated altogether.

We realize this is a difficult time, but we at SJFM want to stress the importance of maintaining your non-Covid related medical care. Many patients have already postponed, delayed or cancelled appointments but now is the time to catch up. Do not neglect routine, preventative or other medical care during this time.

Between now and the end of the year SJFM will be contacting patients who may have fallen behind in their healthcare schedule to help you get back on track. Our goal is that all preventative care (mammograms, vaccines, colorectal cancer screening, wellness visits, etc.) as well as routine care for chronic medical conditions will be back on schedule by December 31st.

We understand the reservations you might have about receiving medical care at this time, but please be assured that we are doing everything possible to guarantee your safety. From virtual tele-health visits to extended hours, SJFM’s mission is providing our patients the best possible care, even in the midst of a global pandemic. We have enhanced our cleaning protocols to ensure all surfaces and equipment are disinfected after each encounter, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the office. In addition, we have increased personnel, upgraded our technology and tapped into other financial resources all to make your experience safer and more pleasant.

We cannot do this alone though. We need your help. We are asking that you jump on the bandwagon towards better health and get back on track. We are a family in a world of turmoil, but together we can do this!

    Sincerely,
The South Jersey Family Medicine Team

  • Get Your Flu Shot

    Get Your Flu Shot

This year, influenza and COVID-19 are circulating at the same time causing a double threat. A lot is still unknown about how the two viruses will affect each other, but one thing is certain – getting the flu shot is exponentially more important this year.

Remember, the flu vaccine not only protects you but also protects all the people who you might otherwise have infected. In addition, the more people who get the flu shot, the less flu-related hospital visits, which will help save important healthcare resources for the treatment of patients with COVID-19.

Please make a plan to get your flu shot today. You can schedule an appointment by calling 856-853-8730, or just drop into our office. We have taken all of the necessary safety precautions to make your visit stress-free.
